    We were founded in 1960 by Harry Lee Waterfield, who was affectionately known as “Governor.” He was a tough, principled man with strong values that he passed on not just to his family, but also to his business. When Harry Lee Waterfield II took over, he worked to maintain and strengthen the company’s values.

    As we approach our seventh decade in business, we’re proud to say that loyalty, honoring commitments, problem-solving, and personable service are still strong, vibrant, and essential pieces to our culture. And in the insurance business, those all come in pretty handy for us, our producers, and our policyholders.
